Privacy Policy
MultiModel
Effective date: July 24, 2026 Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sapphire Automation & Design Inc. (operating as "MultiModel," and referred to here as "MultiModel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the MultiModel website and service at multimodel.co (the "Service").
MultiModel lets you send a prompt to multiple third-party AI models at once, compare their responses, and test prompt variations. This policy covers the personal information involved in providing that Service.
If you have questions, contact us at support@sapphiredesign.io.
1. Who we are
MultiModel is operated by Sapphire Automation & Design Inc., a company based in Ontario, Canada. We provide the Service to users in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. For the purposes of Canadian privacy law, Sapphire Automation & Design Inc. is the organization responsible for the personal information under its control.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form). If you join or create a workspace, we collect workspace names, membership, and roles.
Content you submit. We store the prompts you enter, the model responses returned to you, and related items you create such as saved presets, sessions, and prompt variations. This content may itself contain personal information if you choose to include it in a prompt.
Provider API keys (BYOK). If you choose to bring your own keys, you provide us with API keys for third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, or DeepSeek). We store these keys in encrypted form and use them only to make the model requests you initiate.
Billing information. If you purchase Platform Credits, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We do not store full payment card numbers. We do keep records of your purchases, credit balance, and a usage ledger of the model runs charged to your account.
Technical and usage information. We automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and log and diagnostic information, along with records of how you use the Service (for example, which models you ran and the associated token and cost totals).
Cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See Section 8.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including sending your prompts to the model providers you select and returning their responses;
- process purchases of Platform Credits, track credit balances and usage, and enforce budgets and spending limits;
- authenticate you, secure the Service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account;
- maintain records and comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations; and
- understand and improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified data where practical.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content of your prompts or the model responses to train artificial intelligence models.
Our legal basis / consent. Under Canadian law, we rely on your consent, given when you create an account and use the Service, together with our legitimate business interests in operating and securing it. Where required, we will obtain any additional consent needed.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only as described below.
AI model providers. This is central to how the Service works: when you run a prompt, the content of that prompt (and any conversation context you include) is transmitted to the third-party AI provider(s) you select — which may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and DeepSeek — so they can generate a response. Each provider processes that content under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. Some providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States and other countries. You choose which providers to send each prompt to.
Service providers (processors). We use trusted vendors to run the Service on our behalf, including Stripe (payment processing), Fly.io (hosting), and Linode/Akamai (database). They may access personal information only as needed to perform services for us and are bound to protect it.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MultiModel, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
5. International data transfers
MultiModel is based in Canada, but your information — including the content of your prompts — may be processed in the United States and other countries by the AI providers and service providers described above. Data processed in another country may be subject to that country's laws, including lawful access by its authorities. Where we transfer personal information, we use contractual and other appropriate safeguards to protect it.
6. Data retention
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual content (such as sessions or presets) within the Service, and you can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information. We may retain certain records — such as billing and transaction records — for as long as required to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information.
All users / Canada (PIPEDA). You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, and withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may mean we can no longer provide the Service). To exercise these rights, email support@sapphiredesign.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
United States residents (including California). Subject to applicable state law, you may request to know the personal information we have collected about you, request that we delete or correct it, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, email support@sapphiredesign.io.
We will verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
8. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies — primarily to keep you signed in and to maintain your session and security. Because these cookies are essential to the Service, they are not used for advertising and cannot be turned off without affecting sign-in. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of stored provider API keys and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials and any provider API keys confidential.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
